    1. I do too. I know how to make them and, as long as the outside hoop is perfectly round, you'll get this flower-like pattern every single time. I find the most interesting ones, however, are those done on things not on a perfect circle.

The dream catcher over my bed's hoop is made from grape vines and is, thus, sort of a flat and warped circle. My daughter's is done on a tear-shaped hoop.

  3. I Love dream catchers too! I have one that hangs over my bed still that I made at a day camp when I was younger :) Mine is made of a natural branch that was bent and tied together, so it is in a sort of tear drop shape.

    1. I love when objects of significance can follow us through our lives like that. Personal medicine objects. I made mine almost 13 years ago, now. It really comforts me, seeing it above my bed and knowing all the nights that it's watched over my dreams in that time. It's very neat when simple objects like that can remind us of what all we've come through, in life.

  5. My granddaughter is a dream-catcher collector so she would love this. And I agree with you - the not perfectly symmetrical ones are the prettiest!
